Athletics/ARCNPC seeks to minister to the spirit, mind and body of the faithful. As such the Activities and Recreation Center (ARC) provides opportunities to minister to the body. The following describes existing programs. Click on the following links for more information about the activities: NPC Volleyball League NPC adult volleyball is open to members and friends. Games are played on Mondays and Wednesdays from September to before Thanksgiving and January to before Easter.
Youth Volleyball Junior and senior high summer volleyball teams play in the Murrysville Area Church Volleyball League, which begins in early June. Games are played at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Check the Home page for schedule. Playoffs and a picnic conclude the season in the first week of August. The contact is Ron Barner. Saturday evening pick-up volleyball is held in the ARC from November to May. Check the Home page for schedule. Junior and Senior High youth and their parents and friends are invited for a great time of fellowship and fun. There is no cost or need to register and participants of any skill level are welcome. The contact is Ron Barner. Youth Basketball NPC fields teams in the Murrysville Area Church Basketball Program. Participants in grades 6 through 12 participate. Click here to view 2006/2007 Middle School photos RAM-Recreational After-School Ministry Labyrinth Faith Golf League The Faith Golf League, a joint venture of the Monroeville Methodist and Newlonsburg Presbyterian Churches, plays every Monday at 5:30 at the Murrysville Golf Course. It is non-competitive coed fun golfing -- scores are not kept and there is no league fee. It is a good opportunity to play with friends and meet new ones. |
