MOPS stands for Mothers Of Preschoolers, a program designed to nurture mothers with children from infacy through kindergarten focusing on the unique needs of moms in this phase of life. MOPS groups meet in churches throughout the United States, Canada, and 19 other countries. You don't have to do mothering alone. whether you need a friend to compare stories with, a shoulder to lean on, or ideas to help you be a better mom-MOPS is just the place. Experience warmth and shared wisdom from other moms, not all the same age, lifestyles or backgrounds, but all with a shared desire to be the best mothers they can be. LOAVES & FISHES (EMERGENCY FOOD) NPC now houses and administers the “Loaves and Fishes” Emergency Food. “Loaves and Fishes” provides a three day supply of food to those who need it on an individual and emergency basis. Contact the NPC office at 724-327-0061 for more in formation. Food donations and financial donations to NPC marked for Loaves and Fishes are accepted at the church.
